Comfort Inn Fort Mill Amusement Park at Carowinds Blvd

We had high expectations after staying at a Comfort Inn in Wilmington. The hotel had an odor - musty, smokey, thankfully the room was a little cleaner smelling. It is right next to the amusement park, it was closed during our visit because it was off-season. The hotel wasn't too full since it was off-season, but I bet during the summer months it's packed. Our room was ok. It was tight. The beds left something to be desired - every time I would roll over I could hear the springs popping and groaning.

Very pleased with our stay this week. The lady at the front desk for check in on the evening of 6/11 was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and in good shape. The beds could have been a little more comfortable. Unfortunately at 230am there was a family that let their young (under 5) children run the halls screaming for a bit and woke us all up but that wasn't the hotels fault. The breakfast was surprisingly good and well stocked. We will definitely stay here again.

From the Hotel Manager, Mia, who greets you with a beautiful, welcoming smile, to Tiffany at the front desk, who expertly handles any situation with grace and always takes the time to engage with guests, the service is outstanding. The housekeeping team consistently goes above and beyond, greeting requests with a smile rather than an eye roll. The rooms are impeccably clean, and as a single woman, I have never once had concerns about my safety—an impressive feat in today’s world. It’s clear that 99 percent of a company’s success lies in its people, and without this dedicated team, Comfort Inn wouldn’t thrive as it does. Thank you to everyone at The Comfort Inn for creating such a welcoming and safe environment.

My recent stay at the Comfort Inn At The Park by Carowinds was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed. The customer service was truly magnificent—every team member I interacted with was kind, polite, smiling, and eager to help. The suite was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. The AC worked perfectly, there were no unpleasant smells, and the whirlpool tub was spotless and relaxing. While I did experience a minor issue with the TV in the suite’s sitting area being stuck on an unusable screen, the front desk staff quickly offered to move me to a different room. I declined since I had already settled in and the bedroom TV worked fine. The ambiance of the entire hotel was warm and inviting, and the breakfast had a good variety to start the day right. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Simply cannot beat this hotel for the price. Definitely a top 5 Comfort Inn that I’ve stayed at. Really friendly staff, really decent rooms, and a great location.

check out is 11am but I got woken up TWICE at 9am and 9:40am by house keeping while I have the do not disturb sign out, after a long weekend at carowinds I needed sleep and the dnd sign was ignored. the rooms were fine, clean, everything worked. good location next to food and the park. overall it was good, just those issues the last morning

Checked under matresses with light, no bugs. Beds nice and clean. Nice rooms. Floor needed swept a little better, but no biggie. Only thing we saw. Great breakfast, water pressure, shower perfect. Probably one of the nicest motels we've stayed in. Can see the park. Would definitely stay here again.
